Software Engineer

Software Engineer, Mindlance Inc. (Union, NJ)

• Partner with business stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Lead solution design and architecture and design microservices, APIs, service contracts, and business workflows supporting payment routing decisions.
• Will work on data management and integration using Mongo DB and utilizing Kafka Platform and Confluent Platform.
• Drive application modernization using Java, Spring Boot, MongoDB, and cloud-native technologies.
• Articulate technical solutions to both technical and business audiences.
• Work on full stack Software Engineering tasks using J2EE technologies, including RESTful or SOAP web services and apply experience with JMS (Java Message Service).
• Implement secure DevOps practices and deployment automation to cloud environments.
• Apply Test Automation techniques and tools and work within Micro-Services architecture.
• Use monitoring and observability tools like Splunk and Grafana.
• Provide technical leadership for design reviews, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Establish observability frameworks through monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, security, and operational standards.
• Manage production deployments and incident resolution activities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field of study.
• 5 years' experience in position offered or related position with similar duties.

Special Skills

• 5 years experience required with Java 17, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Spring Webflux, MYSQL, Oracle, DB2, MONGODB, Apache Kafka, Rabbit MQ, JDBC, Mockito and PowerMock

Where all such experience can be acquired concurrently.

Travel required to unanticipated client locations all over the United States

SALARY

$193,461/per year including benefits

WORK SCHEDULE

40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)
