Application Architect - Charlotte, NC - Contract - $70-75 Per HR

This role is a Contract position based in the Charlotte, NC area, requiring a hybrid work schedule. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading technical design and delivery of reusable solutions across multiple digital experiences, utilizing a generic content management platform. The position demands a strong technical background and the ability to collaborate across teams to influence the platform's technical direction.

Description

• Serve as a senior technical lead for designing reusable solutions across digital experiences.
• Provide hands-on development and architecture expertise.
• Establish common patterns for components, integrations, and services.
• Partner with various teams to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
• Drive engineering standards, code quality, and performance.
• Ensure production stability across the ecosystem.
• Influence the broader platform technical direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver reusable solutions across digital experiences.
• Provide architecture guidance and technical leadership.
• Collaborate with product and development teams to meet business needs.
• Drive code quality, performance, and security standards.
• Mentor and conduct code reviews for development teams.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on development and architecture experience with content management systems.
• Expertise in programming languages and frameworks relevant to content management.
• Experience designing reusable components and integration patterns.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, caching, security, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with version control, CI/CD, and automated testing.
