Senior Java/AWS Microservices Developer

Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Java/AWS Microservices Developer to design, build, and support cloud-native applications running on AWS.

The successful candidate will be a hands-on engineer who can quickly contribute to the design, development, testing, deployment, and support of distributed microservices operating at scale.

Minimum Requirements

Candidates should demonstrate strong experience in the following areas:

7+ years of software development experience.

Strong hands-on experience with Java 21 and Spring Boot.

Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs.

Experience with AWS cloud-native application development.

Experience building and supporting microservices in production environments.

Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support experience.

Experience working within Agile delivery teams.

Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and secure coding principles.

Preferred Experience

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Java 21 microservices and REST APIs.

Build and support cloud-native applications running on AWS.

Develop scalable and secure software solutions following engineering best practices.

Implement automated testing and CI/CD practices.

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

Participate in technical design discussions and Agile ceremonies.

Deliver secure, scalable, maintainable, and well-tested software.

Collaborate with engineers, architects, product owners, and platform teams to deliver business outcomes.
