Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a Lead Systems Integrator to lead end-to-end integration activities for a mission-critical enterprise software platform supporting an Intelligence Community customer. The platform integrates multiple technology platforms, shared services, and mission applications into a standardized environment across multiple classified enclaves, leveraging a zero trust, hub-and-spoke architecture.
The Lead Systems Integrator will oversee integration strategy, interface definition, tenant onboarding, system verification, and release integration to ensure platform components operate cohesively and capabilities transition successfully from development to production. This role works closely with the Chief Architect, Program Manager, cybersecurity personnel, and engineering teams across Peraton and its industry partners to manage technical dependencies, resolve integration challenges, and ensure releases meet established performance, security, and authorization requirements.
What You Will Do
- Lead end-to-end systems integration across enterprise platforms, shared services, mission applications, tenant environments, and external or legacy systems.
- Define and maintain interface control documents, integration patterns, interface standards, and onboarding processes for mission tenants and applications.
- Coordinate integration activities across multiple security enclaves, collaborating with cross-domain engineering teams to support secure data and artifact exchanges between classification levels.
- Plan and execute the integration of new capabilities during legacy system transitions while minimizing disruption to existing mission services.
- Lead the Integration and Test team, establishing verification strategies, test environments, and release entry and exit criteria.
- Oversee system-level verification, regression testing, and performance testing; coordinate defect resolution across engineering teams and stakeholders.
- Coordinate release integration activities across development, cybersecurity, and operations teams to support predictable and reliable delivery.
- Ensure integration and test documentation provides the technical evidence required to support Risk Management Framework (RMF) authorization and continuous Authority to Operate (cATO).
- Partner with the Chief Architect to translate enterprise architecture and technical designs into executable integration plans and testable requirements.
- Identify and manage integration dependencies, technical risks, schedule impacts, and cross-team issues; communicate status and mitigation strategies to program leadership and customer stakeholders.
- Lead technical exchanges, integration working groups, and coordination sessions with government customers, industry partners, and technology vendors.
- Establish integration engineering standards, provide technical guidance, and mentor integration engineers to promote consistent engineering practices.
