Machine Learning Engineer

Pay Range

$55 - $60/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities

• Research, prototype, and develop software solutions to solve problems across retail
• Stay up to date with emerging technology and learn new technologies/libraries/frameworks
• Collaborate with peers across multiple disciplines, such as data, product, and systems design
• Deliver on time with a high bar on quality of research, innovation, and engineering

Key Requirements and Technology Experience

• 2+ years of experience as a developer for high-tech products or services
• 2+ years of hands-on experience delivering products or solutions that utilized Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, or other forms of AI solutions (Computer Vision/Mathematical Optimization) OR an MS in Computer Science with some experience in Machine Learning
• Strong mathematical understanding of a variety of statistical learning algorithms (Reinforcement Learning, Supervised/Unsupervised, Graphical Models)
• Experience in various Deep Learning architectures and models including Residual Networks, RNN/CNN, Transformer, and/or Transfer Learning in a production environment
• Proficiency in Python, Scala, or C
• Fluency in one or more ML tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Caffe, and/or Theano
• Familiarity with key concepts in Computer Vision
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering/Math, or relevant experience
• Experience with databases, API, and backend development
• Familiarity with containerized application tooling and deployments (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Databricks experience preferred
