React JS developer

Pay Range

$34 - $42/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver production-ready web application features using React.js and TypeScript.
• Build responsive, accessible, and mobile-friendly user interfaces that work across modern browsers and screen sizes.
• Create reusable UI components using React best practices, including hooks and effective state management.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, handling asynchronous requests, responses, loading states, errors, and data validation.
• Implement authentication flows and token handling in accordance with approved security requirements.
• Design modular, scalable, and maintainable front-end applications using appropriate design patterns.
• Identify and resolve rendering, bundle-size, and runtime performance issues using browser developer tools.
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and UI tests to ensure functionality and reduce regressions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with product, design, and backend engineering teams.
• Document key components, architectural decisions, and deployment procedures to support ongoing development.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience

• 7–8 years of front-end development experience, including substantial hands-on React.js experience.
• Proven experience delivering at least 2–3 major web applications from requirements through production release and ongoing maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of component design, React hooks, reusable patterns, and state management.
• Advanced experience developing clean, maintainable, and well-typed application code in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience designing scalable, modular applications with clear separation of concerns.
• Ability to build accessible interfaces across browsers, devices, and screen sizes.
• Strong experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous operations and errors.
• Experience with OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect for secure web authentication.
• Experience with automated unit and integration testing for front-end applications.
• Proficiency with browser developer tools and React profiling tools.
• Experience with Git, package management, build tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and managing deadlines and changing priorities.
• Experience supporting deployments, production releases, and post-release troubleshooting.
