Riser - Software Executive

• Engineers and maintains robust, high-performance web and mobile applications (fullstack) to drive digital transformation initiatives across facility and workspace management platforms.
• Architects and integrates secure APIs and database schema (relational/NoSQL) to ensure seamless, real-time communication between smart building systems, internal platforms, and third-party services.
• Refactors and optimizes legacy system codebase and microservices to significantly reduce operational memory footprint, improve server response times, and enhance overall system efficiency.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to translate operational requirements into scalable technical solutions and automated workflows.
• Implements and manages CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and cloud/VPS infrastructure to ensure high availability, fast deployment cycles, and minimal system downtime.
• Monitors and audits system performance, database queries, and security configurations to proactively identify bottlenecks, prevent service disruptions, and protect sensitive operational data.
• Participates in technical evaluations and architectural discussions for new software tools, IoT/Light Current integrations, and AI-driven automation capabilities to maintain a competitive technology edge.
• Documents technical specifications, system architecture, and API endpoints to establish clear standards, streamline onboarding, and foster continuous learning within the software engineering function.

Technical Skills

• Full-Stack Development: Proficiency in modern backend environments (e.g., Go, Node.js, or Python) and frontend/mobile frameworks (e.g., React, Expo React Native, or Flutter)
• Database Architecture & Management: Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), query optimization, indexing, and schema design
• API Design & Integration: Mastery of RESTful APIs and GraphQL for robust, secure system-to-system integrations and IoT/smart building interface communication
• DevOps & Infrastructure: Familiarity with containerization (Docker), deployment orchestration (AWS/VPS management), CI/CD workflows, and server monitoring
• Code Architecture & Best Practices: Solid understanding of clean code principles, modular architecture, version control (Git), and security fundamentals (authentication, authorization, data encryption)
