About the Role

We are looking for an experienced C Software Engineer to join a global leader in 3D design, engineering, and entertainment software. In this role, you will contribute to integrating a next-generation visualization streaming SDK into flagship products, designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance C SDKs, and improving CI/CD pipelines and backend data processing services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance C SDKs that enable applications and services to create, read, and process complex 2D/3D visualization data.
• Develop and enhance SDK capabilities to support both legacy and next-generation visualization formats.
• Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including functional, performance, and regression testing.
• Improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines and backend data processing services to support the new visualization toolkit.
• Author clear, high-quality technical documentation.
• Participate in an Agile environment, contributing to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of professional software development experience in C.
• Deep expertise in modern C (C 14 or newer), with a thorough understanding of memory management, concurrency, and performance profiling.
• Proven experience integrating complex libraries or SDKs into existing, large-scale codebases.
• Strong understanding of software architecture principles and the ability to analyze and navigate complex, distributed systems.
• Experience with professional development tools including Git, and CI/CD systems (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Qualifications (if any)

• Experience with 2D/3D computer graphics concepts and geometry processing.
• Familiarity with data streaming protocols, data compression techniques, and client-server architectures.
• Experience developing cross-platform software (Windows, macOS, Linux).
• Knowledge of file format design and data serialization (e.g., Protobuf, FlatBuffers).
