Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior RPA Developer to design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise automation solutions using UiPath. This role is ideal for a highly resourceful developer who can quickly understand existing automation environments, independently troubleshoot unfamiliar code, identify opportunities for improvement, and take ownership of solutions from discovery through production.

The right person will be comfortable working with ambiguity, asking thoughtful questions, challenging existing approaches when appropriate, and figuring out solutions without requiring highly prescriptive direction.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop new enterprise automations using UiPath.
  • Quickly understand, troubleshoot, and enhance existing UiPath automations developed by other engineers.
  • Proactively identify defects, technical debt, performance issues, and opportunities to improve existing solutions.
  • Gather requirements directly from business stakeholders and translate business problems into technical automation solutions.
  • Build integrations with ERP, CRM, databases, REST APIs, Microsoft applications, and other enterprise platforms.
  • Monitor production automations, troubleshoot failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
  • Develop reusable components, libraries, and frameworks using enterprise automation best practices.
  • Perform unit testing, support UAT, and resolve defects.
  • Maintain technical documentation and follow automation governance standards.
  • Collaborate closely with RPA engineers, business SMEs, and technical teams while independently owning assigned initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on UiPath development experience.
  • Strong knowledge of UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, REFramework, attended and unattended automation.
  • Demonstrated experience inheriting existing automation/code and independently troubleshooting, enhancing, or redesigning it.
  • Experience building enterprise integrations using APIs, databases, web applications, and ERP platforms such as SAP, QAD, or similar.
  • Strong production troubleshooting experience including exception handling, logging, monitoring, and root cause analysis.
  • Experience gathering requirements and helping determine how a business process should be automated, rather than only developing from predefined specifications.
  • Familiarity with Git-based source control and CI/CD practices.
  • Professional English communication skills with the ability to collaborate directly with US-based business and technical teams.

Nice-to-Haves

  • UiPath Certified Professional certification.
  • Experience with Document Understanding, AI Center, or Intelligent Document Processing.
  • Background in manufacturing, supply chain, finance, HR, or shared services automation.

Why This Role

This is a strong opportunity to work on enterprise-scale automation initiatives leveraging UiPath within a growing organization. The role offers exposure to complex integrations and end-to-end automation lifecycle ownership.

The successful developer will be someone who does more than complete assigned development work. They will be able to enter an unfamiliar automation environment, quickly understand how existing solutions work, identify issues independently, ask the right questions, and recommend better approaches.

We value developers who are curious, resourceful, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership without waiting for every step to be defined.

Work Environment

Fully remote position supporting Eastern Time working hours. The environment is highly collaborative, with regular interaction across technical teams and business stakeholders.

Interview Information

One round, approximately 60 minutes, with the RPA Lead and Hiring Manager. The discussion will focus on hands-on UiPath experience, technical problem-solving, troubleshooting, solution design, and examples of independently solving complex automation challenges.
