Job Overview

The Information Security Analyst is responsible for protecting an organization's information systems and networks by implementing and monitoring security protocols, detecting and responding to security incidents, and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations. This role involves working closely with IT, corporate users, and cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and mitigate security threats.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the email filter gateway
• Manage and maintain the IDR solution
• Manage and maintain the EDR solution
• Manage and maintain the Information Security awareness and training platform
• Monitor vulnerabilities across corporate assets and collaborate with IT to implement mitigation strategies.
• Respond to security alerts, perform root-cause analyses, and implement recovery measures.
• Promote a culture of security by educating employees on cybersecurity best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or relevant information security certificates (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+).
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in security roles.
• Hands-on experience with the following tools is desired, and knowledge of the technology is required.
• Rapid7 SIEM and IDR suite
• Rapid7 IVM
• Mimecast email gateway
• Zoho Patch Manager
• CrowdSrike EDR
• ServiceNow ticketing system

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent knowledge of current cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and risk management practices.
• Good communication skills for explaining complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
