Job Summary

We are looking for an Infrastructure Support Engineer/Technician to provide on-site infrastructure support at a client location in Macaé, Brazil. The resource will be responsible for attending the site twice a week and providing hands-on technical support for infrastructure-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT infrastructure support during scheduled field visits.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, network, connectivity, and other infrastructure-related issues.
• Perform basic installation, configuration, replacement, and maintenance of IT equipment.
• Support desktops, laptops, networking devices, peripherals, and other IT infrastructure as required.
• Perform physical checks and troubleshooting of IT equipment at the client site.
• Coordinate with remote infrastructure/support teams for issues requiring additional assistance.
• Follow client IT procedures, security policies, and escalation processes.
• Maintain proper documentation of incidents, activities, and resolutions.
• Provide timely updates on completed activities and outstanding issues.

Work Schedule

• Tuesday: 4 hours
• Thursday: 4 hours
• Total: 8 hours per week
• Engagement: 6 months

Required Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in IT Infrastructure Support / Field Support / Desktop Support.
• Good knowledge of hardware and troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of networking and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Experience with installation, configuration, and replacement of IT equipment.
• Ability to work independently at a client site.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with remote technical teams.
• Candidates should be locally available in or near Macaé, Rio de Janeiro and able to travel to the client site as required.
