About the Role

Join an engineering team building an AI platform for drug discovery and life sciences. You will shape foundational product systems that help researchers work with complex scientific workflows.

What You'll Do

  • Build product features and systems from the ground up across the frontend and backend.
  • Design, develop, and own scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines across application, identity, storage, and machine learning layers.
  • Ship production code within fast-moving development cycles and iterate on features after deployment.
  • Partner with engineers, product managers, designers, and AI scientists to turn scientific workflows into intuitive, high-performance software.
  • Own features end to end, from early development through production deployment and scaling.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 10 years of professional full-stack or backend engineering experience, excluding internships.
  • Experience building and owning production systems used by customers, ideally in an early-stage or high-growth startup environment.
  • Strong skills in Python and React, with experience building backend services and REST APIs; Django experience is a plus.
  • Experience with scalable systems, databases, and data-intensive applications. Familiarity with GraphQL and cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is helpful.
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, a STEM field, or comparable technical background.
  • Strong curiosity, clear communication, and an interest in life sciences, drug discovery, or computational biology.
