Description

We are looking to fill a position for Sr. Telecom engineer in Sacramento CA.

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 10 or more years of experience in telecommunication engineering, design, and implementation of telecommunication systems (fiber optic transport system, VHF/UHF and microwave radio transmission system, communication cable infrastructure, high voltage protection in substations, grounding systems, DC Power Systems, and etc)
• Minimum 7 or more years of experience in engineering and design of Security Systems – physical access control system (PACS), Intrusion Detection System (IDS), Video Camera Surveillance Systems (VCSS).
• Proficient in AutoCAD system and techniques.
• Must have 5 years of experience and knowledge in telecommunications cable infrastructure design – Category 6, 6A, singlemode and multimode fiber cables.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering from an accredited college or university.

Desired Skills

• Telecommunication Industry Certifications (e.g. RCDD, etc)
• Manufacturer Certification in Radio, Microwave, Fiber, SONET, DWDM, -48VDC Power, or other related telecommunication systems.
• NEC, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code and Fire Protection Systems
• Knowledgeable in the theories, principles, and operation of telecommunication systems.
• Knowledgeable in the theories, principles, and operation of electrical generation, distribution and transmission systems
