L1/L2 Network Administrator

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and support DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (DDI) solutions, preferably using Infoblox.
• Manage and troubleshoot Cisco Routing & Switching environments to ensure optimal network performance and availability.
• Support Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) for network automation, monitoring, and assurance.
• Configure and administer Cisco Identity Services Engine (Client) for network access control and policy enforcement.
• Design, implement, and optimize Blue Coat Proxy solutions for secure web access and advanced policy management.
• Manage and secure FortiGate Firewalls, including security policies, VPNs, NAT, and threat prevention features.
• Administer Forcepoint Proxy solutions to enforce web security policies and secure enterprise traffic.
• Monitor network infrastructure, troubleshoot complex connectivity issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Implement network changes, upgrades, and security enhancements while minimizing downtime.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards, governance, and best practices.
• Maintain network documentation, configuration standards, and operational procedures.
• Participate in incident, problem, and change management activities while ensuring SLA adherence.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to support business-critical initiatives.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across L1, L2, and L3 support teams.
• Drive continuous service improvement, resource optimization, and operational excellence.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (DDI).
• Experience with Cisco DNA Center (DNAC).
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Routing & Switching.
• Experience administering Cisco Identity Services Engine (Client).
• Strong knowledge of Blue Coat Proxy administration.
• Experience configuring and managing FortiGate Firewalls.
• Experience with Forcepoint Proxy solutions.
• Solid understanding of enterprise networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching, and network security.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
