About The Job

• We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design and build scalable, governed data products aligned with a data-as-a-product strategy. The ideal candidate will bridge architecture, engineering, and business process requirements while enabling analytics and AI use cases across AWS and GCP platforms.
• This role requires strong expertise in modern cloud-based data platforms, lakehouse architectures, data modeling, and enterprise-scale data engineering practices.

Essential Job Functions

• Design and develop scalable end-to-end data products aligned with enterprise data architecture standards.
• Build and optimize batch and near-real-time data pipelines.
• Implement Bronze, Silver, and Gold layer data models and curated data products.
• Engineer and optimize solutions on:
• AWS (S3, Glue, MWAA, Athena, Redshift)
• GCP (GCS, BigQuery, Dataproc, Dataflow)
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and data scientists to deliver business-focused data solutions.
• Contribute to reusable engineering patterns, platform modernization initiatives, and lighthouse projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
• Ensure data quality, governance, metadata management, and lineage across data pipelines and platforms.
• Enable advanced analytics, reporting, AI, and machine learning use cases through well-designed data products.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Platforms, or related disciplines.
• Strong hands-on experience with both AWS and GCP cloud ecosystems.
• Advanced proficiency in:
• PySpark
• SQL
• Python
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as:
• Apache Airflow
• Cloud Composer
• Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow (MWAA)
• Strong understanding of Lakehouse Architecture and modern Data Modeling principles.
• Experience designing and supporting enterprise data solutions across business domains such as:
• Finance
• Supply Chain
• Sales
• Operations
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
