Interview Process

1 interview with the hiring manager and a peer Software Engineering Manager.

The person joining will be heavily involved in designing and developing the API/integration layer supporting this transformation.

Preferred Technical Skills

• REST API design and development
• Java / Spring Boot is the likely development stack
• OpenShift / Kubernetes deployment experience
• API authentication/security:
• OAuth 2.0
• JWT
• mTLS
• Enterprise integration patterns
• JSON payload transformation
• Kafka and/or IBM MQ
• Cloud networking
• Strong understanding of API security
• MuleSoft / Informatica exposure is beneficial
• Experience deploying/troubleshooting applications and pods within containerized environments

Key Responsibilities

The engineer will help design and build the integration framework, including:

• Build Prediction Integrator interfaces
• Design outbound API calls to WorkFusion
• Receive and process WorkFusion responses
• Integrate with Continuity CMAPI
• Build RTP APIs
• Design/integrate Negative News APIs
• Perform JSON payload transformations
• Implement OAuth 2.0, JWT, and mTLS security
• Build error handling and automated retry mechanisms
• Implement audit logging
• Establish monitoring and observability
• Support integrations across FircoSoft, WorkFusion, Kafka/MQ, and other enterprise platforms
• Support OpenShift/Kubernetes deployments
