Job Description

Seeking for a Database Administrator to supporting the Center for Educational Performance and Information (CEPI) database environment, focusing on the Statewide Longitudinal Data System (SLDS) modernization. This role involves strategic and tactical information design, data modeling, and transitioning ETL processes to cloud servers. You'll ensure architectural frameworks are implemented, and server infrastructure is monitored and upgraded.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data pipelines, perform ETL activities, and provide technical troubleshooting and expertise.
• Manage database analysis, enhancement, and performance tuning. Coordinate physical database changes and manage database systems.
• Define database objects using SQL, test and refine database changes, and monitor performance.
• Evaluate user requests for new data elements and systems, ensuring data integrity and control redundancy.
• Perform data modeling, develop ETLs, and execute database recovery procedures.
• Enhance database security standards and monitor disaster recovery procedures.
