Scope of Services

Seeking for a Database Administrator to ensure our data architectures meet departmental standards. You'll assist in designing, developing, and optimizing database schemas across multiple platforms, supporting our overall data architecture needs.

Experience

• 12 years of database administration experience with DB2 for z/OS, SQL Server 2008R2, 2012, Oracle 10g and above
• FDOT database infrastructure and application knowledge is a plus

Primary Job Duties/Tasks

• Daily database administration activities
• Plan, design, and implement database structures
• Conduct database performance monitoring and tuning
• Maintain database administration procedures and documentation
• Perform SQL Code reviews
• Assist with training/mentoring technical staff

Job Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Advanced knowledge of DB2 for z/OS, JCL, and z/OS integrated platform
• In depth knowledge of CA GEN, ISPF, ASG Scheduler, COBOL
• Solid working knowledge of z/OS started task management, IBI z/OS, AFOPER commands, RACF, CICS, IOF
• Solid working knowledge of Oracle and MSSQL application integration
• Working knowledge of Windows Servers, SSMS, SSRS, SSIS, Azure
