This role sits close to the Front Office and works across trading, technology, infrastructure, market data, vendors, operations, and control functions. The environment is highly operational, time-sensitive, and focused on platform stability, resilient trading services, effective incident response, and continuous improvement.

The position supports technology used across Rates and Credit markets, including pricing, risk, P&L, market connectivity, and electronic execution. It offers significant exposure to both the business and technical sides of a capital-markets trading environment.

What's In Store For You

  • Engagement: W2 only (no C2C/1099).
  • Hybrid opportunity based in New York City.
  • 12-month engagement supporting business-critical Front Office trading technology.
  • Direct interaction with traders, sales, operations, technology teams, vendors, and senior stakeholders.
  • Broad ownership spanning production support, incident/problem management, releases, disaster recovery, operational controls, and platform improvement.
  • Participation in an on-call/support rotation, with 24x7 availability depending on business needs.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Own day-to-day production support for technology supporting Fixed Income Rates and Credit businesses.
  • Monitor trading applications, pricing and market-data feeds, interfaces, connectivity, electronic order flow, and execution workflows.
  • Troubleshoot production incidents in real time and coordinate resolution across application development, infrastructure, networking, vendors, and business teams.
  • Lead root-cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions following production issues.
  • Serve as a key technology contact for traders, sales, middle office, and operations.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to prioritize enhancements, improve platform reliability, and identify automation opportunities.
  • Coordinate testing, releases, deployments, production-readiness activities, and post-release validation.
  • Support connectivity and onboarding activities involving trading venues, brokers, counterparties, and technology vendors.
  • Maintain operational documentation covering support procedures, recovery processes, dependencies, and escalation paths.
  • Support disaster recovery, audit, compliance, access reviews, change management, and other operational-control activities.
  • Develop dashboards, stability reporting, and service-level reporting that provide stakeholders with visibility into platform health and operational risk.

  • Experience troubleshooting electronic trading workflows, market connectivity, pricing feeds, or related Front Office applications.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as SQL Server/MSSQL or Oracle.

  • Familiarity with enterprise scheduling tools such as AutoSys.
  • Strong knowledge of incident, problem, change, release, and production-management practices, ideally within an ITIL-aligned environment.
  • Ability to perform real-time debugging, log analysis, root-cause investigation, and production troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with electronic execution venues and market-data platforms.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with Front Office users and senior business/technology stakeholders.
