Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Python API / Java Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Python, Java, API development, microservices, and database technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience designing, developing, and integrating enterprise-level applications, with exposure to AI-driven software development practices.

Experience in Fixed Income, Equities, or Capital Markets is preferred.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Python development, including FastAPI, Flask, RESTful API development, and API integrations.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Proven experience building enterprise-level applications and integrating Python-based services with Java applications and databases.
• Strong database development experience with PostgreSQL, Db2, MongoDB, or Snowflake.
• Proficiency in complex SQL queries, stored procedure development, database optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience with AI-driven Software Development Life Cycle (AI SDLC) practices, including specification-driven design and development.
• Experience designing and developing innovative workflows using agentic AI orchestration.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and passionate about technology and innovation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Experience working on Fixed Income or Capital Markets projects is a plus.

Desired Skills

• Strong understanding of Fixed Income, Equities, or Capital Markets, including experience collaborating with business users.
• Experience with frontend technologies such as Angular or React.
• Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools.
• Experience with specification-driven development and AI-powered software engineering practices.
• Knowledge of agentic AI orchestration and its application to business process automation and workflow optimization.
