Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in AWS cloud services, Python application development, and enterprise application integration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and developing cloud-native applications, implementing integration patterns, and managing AWS platform components.

This role focuses on the application development and integration side of data engineering, with particular emphasis on REST APIs, event-driven architectures, file-based integrations, and batch processing. The candidate should also have experience with infrastructure automation, application CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.

Required Technical Skills

• Python Development: Strong hands-on experience developing applications using Python.
• AWS Cloud Services: Experience with AWS Glue, Lambda, EKS, S3, DynamoDB, and DocumentDB.
• Integration Patterns: Strong understanding and practical experience with REST API, event-driven, file-based, and batch integrations.
• Event-Driven Architecture: Ability to design and implement event-based integration patterns using Kafka or other event-bus technologies.
• AWS Platform Management: Knowledge of IAM, cloud security, DNS, and Route 53.
• Infrastructure as Code: Hands-on experience with Terraform.
• DevOps and CI/CD: Experience with Jenkins, Git, and application build, deployment, and release pipelines.
