About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive IT Administrator to provide end-to-end IT support, infrastructure administration, security monitoring, and user lifecycle management within a dynamic enterprise environment.

This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and availability of IT services while supporting users across multiple systems, platforms, and communication channels. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Microsoft 365, cloud technologies, networking, IT support, systems administration, and cybersecurity best practices.

Key Responsibilities

IT Service Desk & End-User Support

• Provide first and second-line IT support for end users across hardware, software, and infrastructure environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while ensuring service levels are met.
• Manage incident tracking, resolution, and escalation processes using IT service management tools.
• Deliver high-quality support through multiple communication channels.

User Administration & Access Management

• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding activities, including user account provisioning and deactivation.
• Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights based on approved policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with HR and department heads to ensure secure access management practices.
• Maintain accurate records of user access and account administration activities.

Microsoft 365 & Cloud Administration

• Provide administration and support for Microsoft 365 services, including:
• Exchange Online
• OneDrive
• SharePoint
• Microsoft Teams
• Teams Voice
• Microsoft Intune
• Support cloud identity and device management functions.
• Monitor security compliance and endpoint management activities.
• Assist with Microsoft Azure administration tasks where required.

Hardware & Software Administration

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, monitors, and other IT equipment.
• Manage software installations, updates, patching, and licensing.
• Ensure operating systems and applications remain secure and up to date.
• Minimize downtime through proactive maintenance and support.

Network & Infrastructure Administration

• Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure including:
• LAN
• Wi-Fi
• Switches
• Routers
• Firewalls
• Internet Connectivity
• Support network reliability, performance, and security initiatives.
• Coordinate infrastructure-related activities and technical escalations.

IT Security & Compliance

• Monitor endpoint protection and cybersecurity tools.
• Support endpoint compliance and device security initiatives.
• Monitor security alerts and coordinate remediation activities.
• Support vulnerability management, security patching, and compliance requirements.
• Promote cybersecurity awareness and security best practices.

Systems Monitoring & Business Continuity

• Monitor systems, servers, cloud environments, and IT services.
• Support backup and recovery procedures and perform restoration activities when required.
• Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity activities.
• Support system monitoring and proactive incident prevention initiatives.

IT Asset & Vendor Management

• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, warranties, licenses, repairs, and disposals.
• Support procurement activities including quotations, purchases, deliveries, and warranty management.
• Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and service providers regarding support requirements and service delivery.
• Maintain IT documentation, asset registers, and configuration records.

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology or equivalent technical qualification.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or IT infrastructure management.
• Experience working within enterprise or hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Microsoft Intune
• Azure Administration
• Endpoint Management
• ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms
• Good understanding of networking technologies including LAN, Wi-Fi, routing, switching, and firewall administration.
• Experience with backup and recovery procedures.
• Knowledge of IT asset management, configuration management, and vendor coordination.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts including:
• MFA
• Cloud Security
• Endpoint Security
• Zero Trust Principles
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
