Azure Platform Administrator

• Administer and maintain Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and platform services.
• Manage Azure subscriptions, resource groups, policies, and governance frameworks.
• Deploy, configure, and support Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Storage Accounts, and Load Balancers.
• Implement and manage identity and access management using Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID).
• Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and security using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and related tools.
• Configure backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions using Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery.
• Implement and manage network security controls, including NSGs, Azure Firewall, VPN Gateways, and Private Endpoints.
• Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM Templates, or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Support cloud migration, modernization, and optimization initiatives.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and coordinate with application and infrastructure teams to resolve incidents.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security, governance, and operational standards.
• Provide operational support, documentation, and knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of IT infrastructure administration experience with at least 3+ years of hands-on Azure administration experience.
• Mandatory Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) certification.
• Strong expertise in:
• Azure Virtual Machines
• Azure Networking
• Azure Storage Services
• Azure Monitor
• Azure Backup & Site Recovery
• Azure Resource Manager (ARM)
• Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Experience managing production Azure environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, and operational best practices.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and Azure automation.
