About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Front-End Web Developer who can help us move fast, launch smarter, and raise the quality of our web experiences across a wide and evolving digital ecosystem.

This is not a narrow, single-stack role. You will work across modern headless builds, static sites, React storefronts, analytics implementations, and legacy platforms inherited through acquisitions. Some projects will be clean and modern. Others will require patience, curiosity, and creative problem-solving.

We need someone who can ship without a lot of hand-holding, make good technical decisions under real-world constraints, and use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate the work without sacrificing judgment, quality, or maintainability.

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and improve front-end experiences across our Contentful and Nuxt-based web stack.
  • Update content models and develop new components with careful attention to UI/UX, usability, and visual polish supporting ongoing marketing and business needs.
  • Own the front end of multiple React-based headless storefront microsites connected to Magento for cart and checkout functionality.
  • Support React front ends hosted on Microsoft Azure.
  • Build and maintain Hugo static sites managed through CloudCannon and hosted on Azure Static Web Apps.
  • Maintain content structure, build/deploy pipelines, and front-end updates across static site properties.
  • Support legacy website experiences inherited through acquisitions, including Wix, Google Website Builder, MODX, WordPress/WooCommerce, and legacy React.
  • Keep legacy sites stable, secure, and functional without assuming every problem gets a full rebuild.
  • Implement and maintain Google Tag Manager and GA4 tracking across the site portfolio.
  • Diagnose and resolve browser issues, performance problems, tracking gaps, integration bugs, and production defects.
  • Partner directly with marketing and digital stakeholders to turn business needs into practical front-end solutions.
  • Participate in Agile workflows, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, task tracking, and prioritization.
  • Help shape how the team uses AI-assisted and agentic development tools to move faster and work smarter.

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on front-end development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern framework such as React, Vue, or Nuxt.
  • Strong UI/UX sensibility: this includes visual hierarchy, typography, spacing, and interaction design paired with solid working knowledge of modern front-end architecture, responsive design, accessibility, UX best practices, and performance.
  • Experience with Magento at the front-end, theming, storefront, or cart/checkout integration level.
  • Experience with headless or composable CMS platforms such as Contentful, CloudCannon, or similar.
  • Familiarity with static site generators such as Hugo and cloud hosting platforms such as Azure Static Web Apps.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager, GA4, and marketing analytics implementation.
  • Proven ability to work in unfamiliar or inherited codebases without complete documentation or original-author support.
  • Strong front-end instincts: you care about how an experience looks, feels, loads, tracks, and performs.
  • A practical builder mindset: you know when to polish, when to simplify, and when to ship.
  • Comfort working on a lean team where priorities move quickly and resources are limited.
  • Familiarity with Agile workflows; Jira or Trello experience is helpful but not required.
  • A portfolio, GitHub, Bitbucket, CodePen, or other work samples that show how you think and build.

AI-Assisted Development Expectations

  • AI fluency is important for this role. We are looking for someone who is already using, or is highly motivated to adopt, tools like Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or similar AI-assisted development environments.
  • You do not need to be an expert in every tool, but you should be comfortable using AI to speed up research, debugging, refactoring, documentation, testing, and implementation. Just as importantly, you should know how to review AI-generated work critically, validate assumptions, and keep quality high.
  • The right person will help us build better habits around agentic development, not just use AI as a shortcut.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience mentoring junior developers or leading front-end decisions on a small team.
  • Experience managing external vendors or web development partners to keep projects on time, on budget, and aligned to scope.

Why This Role Matters

Our web ecosystem is growing, changing, and moving fast. We need a front-end developer who can bring order to complexity, launch meaningful improvements quickly, and help the Digital Experience team scale how we build.

If you like solving messy problems, working across a variety of platforms, and using modern tools to move faster without lowering the bar, this role is for you.
