About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and strong Azure Databricks Data Engineer to join a dynamic team in the tech industry. In this role, you will contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data engineering solutions using Databricks, PySpark, Python, SQL, Azure Data Factory, and Logic Apps. You will focus on building reliable data pipelines, implementing Medallion Architecture, enabling CI/CD, and supporting governed data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse solutions to support business intelligence and reporting needs.
• Design and implement data warehouse architecture, including data models, schemas, and ETL processes.
• Develop and maintain ETL scripts to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse.
• Optimize data warehouse performance by monitoring and tuning database queries and processes.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data validation and quality checks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective data warehouse solutions.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain machine learning, statistical, and optimization models to solve business problems and improve operational performance.
• Partner with product owners, business stakeholders, data engineers, and software engineers to translate business requirements into scalable analytical solutions.
• Perform data wrangling, feature engineering, exploratory data analysis (EDA), and model evaluation using Python and SQL.
• Design and build reusable analytics workflows, automated pipelines, and production-ready machine learning solutions.
• Leverage cloud platforms and distributed computing frameworks to process and analyze large-scale datasets.
• Present insights, recommendations, and business value through effective visualizations and executive-level communications.
• Contribute to MLOps practices including model versioning, monitoring, CI/CD automation, and responsible AI governance.
• Participate in code reviews and promote engineering and machine learning best practices.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Machine Learning, Statistical Modeling, and Feature Engineering.
• Experience with Databricks, Spark/PySpark, Snowflake, or other distributed data processing platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with MLOps tools such as MLflow, Azure ML, SageMaker, Kubeflow, or equivalent.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• 6-9 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications (if any)

• Experience building and deploying production-grade machine learning solutions.
• Knowledge of Medallion Architecture and CI/CD practices.
