About the Role

We are looking for a versatile Software Engineer with strong algorithmic skills to join our client's team in the tech industry. In this role, you will contribute to developing next-generation backend services, REST APIs, and integration tools that leverage cloud computing to support web applications and external partner integrations.

Responsibilities

• Make significant contributions to the design, architecture, and implementation of new, state-of-the-art functionality that relies on high volumes of data and efficient processing algorithms.
• Continuously improve existing API functionality, performance, and service quality while maintaining accurate API contracts and OpenAPI specifications.
• Be involved in all aspects of software development, working to create and maintain applications that are reliable, secure, performant, and pleasant for our customers to use.
• Work collaboratively with a cross-functional Agile team responsible for the entire software development process, from analyzing market needs to delivering working software.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and performance optimization.
• 4 years of experience in software application development using Python.
• Experience optimizing application performance and resource utilization.
• Experience with AWS services, including Amazon S3, AWS Lambda, Amazon EC2, Amazon DynamoDB, and Amazon SQS.
• Experience developing highly available backend services.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining REST APIs.
• Good oral and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications (if any)

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Experience designing scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
