About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Engineer to join a leading company in the tech industry. In this role, you will contribute to designing, building, and maintaining complex modules of streaming services, deploying and running services on AWS, and improving performance and resiliency at scale.

Responsibilities

• Independently design, build, and maintain complex modules of our streaming services.
• Own components or initiatives end to end, driving execution and applying solid engineering practices.
• Deploy and run services on AWS across multiple regions, using ECS/EC2 and supporting services.
• Improve performance and resiliency through caching strategies and troubleshoot production issues with limited supervision.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 - 5 years of hands-on software development experience building and operating production services.
• Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js, or ability to quickly ramp on a Node.js service stack.
• Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and DevOps fundamentals.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong JavaScript programming experience.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with 3D model data, geometry or mesh processing, or streaming pipelines.
• Experience with Rust is a plus.
