Role Summary
Symplr is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. Senior Software Engineers are responsible for the development, manage a small scrum team, Unit testing and evaluation of a new or modified software product.
Symplr is a leader in healthcare governance, risk management, and compliance enterprise operations software and services. Our solutions are solely focused on the healthcare realm to improve operational efficiencies, empower providers, and enable a safer care environment.
Offices in India, the U.S., and Europe support our growing list of customers across the globe, which are primarily mid-size to large healthcare organizations, health systems, and payer organizations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Be a champion for department initiatives and values ensuring all actions promote the department’s mission statement
- Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions
- Work with other developers, analysts, project managers, QA and others to develop enterprise-level software products adhering to best practices and established standards and practices
- Mentor software engineers on design principles, engineering practices and be resourceful
- Ensure software solutions are reviewed, documented and unit tested prior to handing it over to QA
- Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming
- Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear testable code
- Improve operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures
- Communicate in a professional manner when interacting with coworkers and external customers
- Participate in internal and external technical reviews, as required
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Skills Required
- In-depth understanding of Java Developer & the Angular framework (Angular 11+), Rxjs, Angular-CLI• Good knowledge in Bootstrap, css3, primeng, Html5, Json and css pre processers• Excellent JavaScript and Typescript knowledge and programming experience in es5/es6• Experience in developing automated unit testcases using jasmine and karma• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
- Should be able to manage a small team independently
- You should be a professional with having 6-10 years’ experience with software development post BE/B.Tech, ME/M.Tech or MCA.
Good to have skills
(if not available we need to train folks on these)
- Experience in responsive web development
- Experience with JS utility libraries like Lodash, moment, ngx-bootstrap etc...
- Experience with ADO (Azure Boards), GIT as source control, Knowledge on Scaled Agile Framework
