About the Role

Join an AI-focused team building the systems layer for a process intelligence platform. You will turn complex enterprise data into reliable, useful product experiences powered by hosted AI models.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain production AI services and pipelines, including retrieval, context construction, model selection, structured extraction, and orchestration.
  • Develop evaluation datasets, benchmarks, regression tests, guardrails, and fallback paths to measure and improve AI quality.
  • Monitor and debug production systems, addressing latency, cost, failures, and reliability.
  • Work across the pipeline from customer data to generated outputs, iterating on product features using customer feedback.
  • Make pragmatic build-versus-buy and refactoring decisions while owning projects from design through deployment and monitoring.

What We're Looking For

  • Four or more years of applied AI, ML, or production software engineering experience, with sustained ownership of shipped systems used by customers.
  • Strong Python skills, experience with asynchronous services, and familiarity with typed languages such as Go, C++, Java, Scala, or C.
  • Hands-on experience with hosted LLM APIs, RAG and retrieval, vector search, structured outputs, or agent orchestration.
  • Experience building AI evaluations or benchmarks and improving systems through regression testing, human review, or other quality measures.
  • Ability to reason end to end across data pipelines and user-facing product behavior, and to communicate clearly with customers.
  • Experience with production product engineering and customer feedback, ideally in an early-stage or fast-moving environment.
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Relevant tools and technologies include PostgreSQL, Redis, GCP, Terraform, Docker, Datadog, React, TypeScript, and AI model APIs.
  • Experience with enterprise documents, multimodal inputs, or process and workflow systems is helpful.
