About The Job

• Primary Skills: Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS), REST APIs, Oracle Fusion Cloud Extensions
• We are seeking a strong Oracle VBCS Developer to design and develop the user interface for a custom Oracle Cloud Prepaid and Ad Hoc Amortization solution.
• The VBCS application will integrate with Oracle Fusion Payables, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and ATP to retrieve eligible AP invoices, capture amortization parameters, manage ad hoc amortization transactions, support approval and rejection workflows, and provide an amortization register with transaction and posting status.

Essential Job Functions

• Design and develop responsive Oracle VBCS pages for the amortization solution.
• Develop the following key application components:
• Invoice Search
• Invoice Selection
• MPA / Amortization Details
• Ad Hoc Amortization
• Amortization Register
• Approval / Reject Functionality
• Transaction View, Edit, and Resubmit Functionality
• Integrate VBCS with Oracle Fusion Cloud to retrieve live AP invoice and master/reference data.
• Implement search functionality based on Business Unit, Supplier, Invoice Number, and Invoice Date.
• Implement validations to restrict invoice selection based on defined business rules.
• Develop dynamic tables supporting:
• Multi-row Selection
• Add / Delete Rows
• Editable Fields
• Search and Filter Capabilities
• Submit and Resubmit Actions
• Approval and Rejection Processing
• Implement user validations for:
• Amortization Amount
• Start and End Dates
• Account Combinations
• Mandatory Fields Validation
• Integrate VBCS with ATP for transaction creation, retrieval, updates, and status management.
• Develop Register functionality displaying amortization schedules, approval status, and GL posting status.
• Implement approval workflows based on Amortization Type and configured approvers.
• Implement role-based access controls ensuring users can only access authorized functionality and Business Units.
• Integrate the application with Oracle Fusion Cloud Home Page and navigation standards where applicable.
• Develop robust exception handling and user-friendly error messaging.
• Maintain audit-related information including:
• Created Date
• Created By
• Approval Date
• Approved By
• Approval/Rejection Comments
• Collaborate closely with OIC, ATP, and Finance Functional Consultants for end-to-end integration activities.
• Support Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, deployment, and production stabilization.
• Prepare technical design documents, deployment guides, and support documentation.

Qualifications

Mandatory Skills

• 5+ years of Oracle development experience with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle VBCS / Oracle Visual Builder.
• Strong experience developing enterprise applications using Oracle VBCS.

• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing Oracle Fusion Cloud extensions.
• Understanding of Oracle Fusion Accounts Payable (AP) and General Ledger (GL) business processes.
• Experience with Oracle Redwood UX and Visual Builder development standards.
• Knowledge of OCI security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
• Experience building financial transaction applications with approval workflows, audit trails, and compliance requirements.
