About The Job

• We are seeking a Mid-Level IBM Sterling Developer / Engineer with 3–6 years of experience in EDI and B2B integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, EDI transactions, partner onboarding, and production support in a fast-paced integration environment. You'll work on large-scale B2B integrations, solve complex business challenges, and help drive reliable, scalable data exchanges across enterprise systems.

Essential Job Functions

• Design, develop, and support integration solutions using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (SI).
• Configure and maintain EDI transactions such as X12, EDIFACT, and XML.
• Onboard trading partners and manage communication protocols including AS2, SFTP, FTP, and HTTPS.
• Develop and maintain business processes, maps, and workflows.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with business, customer, and technical teams to deliver integration requirements.
• Support system upgrades, deployments, and performance tuning.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.
• Strong understanding of EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT).
• Experience with mapping tools, business processes, and partner onboarding.
• Knowledge of AS2, SFTP, FTP, HTTP/S, and secure file transfer protocols.
• Experience with SQL and Linux / Unix environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Sterling File Gateway (SFG).
• Knowledge of APIs, JSON, XML, and microservices architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure).
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices.
