About The Job

• The resources will work closely with the primary vendor to execute high-priority multi-cloud security initiatives across GCP and Azure.

Essential Job Functions

• Identity & Access Management: Refactoring GCP and Azure IAM architectures.
• Authentication Controls: Enhancing Microsoft Conditional Access and Google Context-Aware access.
• Remote Connection Improvements: Enforcing MFA, implementing IAP/Bastion proxies, and securing Jump Hosts.
• Network Egress Security: Designing controls to prevent data exfiltration and unauthorized outbound traffic.
• Logging Improvements.
• Risk Assessment: Executing the yearly comprehensive security and risk assessment across both cloud environments.

Qualifications

Skills Requirement

Primary Skills

• Multi-Cloud IAM Architecture: Deep expertise in GCP (Org/Folders/Projects) and Azure (Tenant/Management Groups) resource hierarchies.
• Privileged Access Governance: Hands-on implementation experience with Azure PIM/PAM.
• Zero-Trust Authentication: Experience with configuring Microsoft Entra ID Conditional Access and GCP Context-Aware Access.
• Secure Remote Access: Experience with Implementing GCP Identity-Aware Proxy (IAP), Azure Bastion, and jumphost controls.
• Network Egress Security: Designing controls to detect and prevent data exfiltration and unauthorized outbound traffic.
• Risk Assessment: Proven experience conducting cloud environment security and risk assessments.

Secondary Skills

• Logging & Telemetry: Structuring advanced audit log routing (PIM, Network, Jump Hosts, SQL) for SOC consumption and compliance review.
• Attack Surface Reduction: Familiarity with egress traffic security controls, Private Google Access, Azure NAT Gateways, and cloud firewalls.
• Identity Governance: Basic understanding of SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) (Good to have but not a must requirement).

Certifications (Good to have)

• Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
• Microsoft: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500) or Identity and Access Administrator (SC-300).
• Cloud Security Architect.
