About The Job

• The AI Architect serves as a client-facing technical leader responsible for designing and governing the end-to-end architecture of AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI solutions for client organizations. Acting as a trusted advisor, the architect works closely with client stakeholders to understand business goals, assess existing IT and data environments, and translate business requirement to define scalable, future-ready architectures that enable successful AI adoption.
• This includes creating and applying reusable architectural blueprints and reference models that cover the entire AI lifecycle—from data ingestion and model development to orchestration, deployment, and monitoring.
• The AI Architect ensures seamless integration across client data sources, model pipelines, APIs, and enterprise systems, while making informed, traceable decisions on AI deployment strategy across cloud, on-premise, or hybrid infrastructure.
• A key aspect of the role is embedding enterprise security, access control, and responsible AI principles into architectural designs to meet regulatory and ethical requirements.
• The architect collaborates with client-side technical and business teams, as well as *** consultants, engineers, and delivery leads, to align solution design with operational constraints and long-term client objectives.
• This role demands understanding of AI\ML algorithms, cloud native technology, coding concepts, deep technical acumen, strong communication skills, and the ability to design AI systems that are robust, interoperable, and aligned with the client’s strategy.

Essential Job Functions

• Design and implement data models and views in SAP Business Data Cloud / SAP Datasphere
• Integrate data from SAP systems (S/4HANA, ECC, BW) and non-SAP sources
• Build and optimize end-to-end data pipelines in the cloud
• Develop analytical models, stories, and dashboards using SAP Analytics Cloud
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance
• Support business users by translating reporting and analytics requirements into technical solutions
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and architects
• Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize data flows
• Contribute to data strategy, best practices, and cloud adoption initiatives
• Support testing, documentation, and knowledge transfer
• Data Modeling & Architecture: Design and build data models, spaces, views, and semantic layers in SAP Datasphere.
• Data Integration & Pipelines: Integrate and federate data from SAP sources (S/4HANA, ECC, SAP BW/4HANA) and non-SAP platforms (Snowflake, Azure, Google BigQuery, Databricks).
• Analytics & Reporting: Develop stories, dashboards, and enterprise planning models using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Modernization Strategy: Lead the transition and migration of legacy SAP BW / SLT landscapes into SAP's Business Data Cloud (BDC) architecture.
• AI/ML & Advanced Integration: Connect SAP data products with external AI/ML pipelines (such as Databricks and Unity Catalog) or embedded analytics like SAP Joule.
• Governance & Quality: Establish data quality rules, security policies, role-based access, and metadata governance.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Translate complex business metrics and requirements from finance, supply chain, or HR leaders into technical architecture.

Qualifications

Core Tools

• SAP Datasphere (formerly Data Warehouse Cloud / DWC)
• SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
• SAP BW / BW/4HANA & CDS Views

Technical Skills

• Strong SQL and HANA SQL knowledge
• Cloud data architecture principles (star schema, fact/dimension modeling)
• Familiarity with hyperscalers or data lakes (Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks)

Certifications (Preferred)

• SAP Certified Specialist – SAP Datasphere
• SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP Analytics Cloud
