About The Job

• We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst with strong analytical, technical, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business and technology teams, leveraging data analysis, programming knowledge, and business process expertise to deliver impactful solutions and drive data-driven decision-making.
• Shift: 11 AM to 9 PM

Essential Job Functions

• Gather, document, analyze, and validate business and functional requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and data analysis.
• Create and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), process flows, workflow diagrams, and data models.
• Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and project teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data analysis, reporting, and validation.
• Review and analyze Java and Python code to understand application functionality and support business requirements.
• Utilize AI tools to improve business analysis, productivity, and solution recommendations.
• Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar reporting tools.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, issues, and actionable insights.
• Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect tracking, and solution validation activities.
• Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure delivered solutions meet business objectives.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Track project progress, requirements traceability, risks, issues, and dependencies using Jira, Azure DevOps, or Confluence.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or Data Business Analyst.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, or a related quantitative field.

Technical Skills

• Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries and perform data analysis.
• Ability to leverage AI tools for analysis, productivity, and business process improvement.
• Experience reviewing and understanding Java and Python code.
• Hands-on experience with Java and Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Strong spreadsheet modeling skills using Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
• Experience with requirements and project management tools including Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence.

• Experience supporting software testing, UAT, and defect management activities.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and project delivery methodologies.
