About The Job

• We are seeking an experienced Test Lead to drive quality engineering initiatives across projects and programs.
• The individual will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned applications and business domains, provide technical leadership to the testing team, support delivery management activities, and ensure high-quality releases through effective test planning, execution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• The ideal candidate should possess a strong quality mindset, hands-on exposure to test automation, and proven ability to lead teams while collaborating effectively with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

Essential Job Functions

• Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned applications, business processes, and testing practices.
• Quickly understand functional modules, integrations, dependencies, and business workflows to guide the team effectively.
• Provide technical leadership on test design, test coverage, defect analysis, debugging, and validation approaches.
• Possess working knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and automation frameworks/tools such as Robot Framework, Selenium, Cucumber, and similar technologies.
• Drive test automation adoption and identify opportunities to improve test efficiency and test coverage.
• Mentor team members through domain knowledge sharing and technical guidance.
• Lead test planning, execution, defect management, risk assessment, and change impact analysis to ensure quality deliverables.
• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Collaborate with customers, business stakeholders, development teams, and project leadership to ensure successful delivery.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI and emerging technologies in testing and day-to-day quality engineering activities.
• Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and quality assurance best practices.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience leading QA and Testing teams across multiple projects and programs.
• Hands-on experience in Test Planning, Test Execution, Defect Management, Risk Assessment, and Quality Governance.
• Working knowledge of Python scripting.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as:
• Robot Framework
• Selenium
• Cucumber
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test strategy, test design, and validation techniques.
• Experience driving automation adoption and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Excellent leadership, mentoring, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to AI-driven testing tools and modern quality engineering practices.
• Experience leveraging AI technologies to improve testing efficiency and productivity.
• Knowledge of communication and connectivity technologies, including:
• ZigBee
• Matter
• 4G/LTE
• 5G
• Wi-Fi
• Bluetooth
• Experience testing connected devices, IoT ecosystems, or communication platforms is an added advantage.
