About The Job

• We are looking for an experienced AWS Solution Architect to design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable, highly available cloud solutions. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience with AWS services, cloud-native architecture, migration, security, automation, and DevOps practices.

Essential Job Functions

• Design scalable, secure, highly available, and fault-tolerant solutions on AWS.
• Define cloud architecture, reference architectures, and technical standards.
• Lead migration and modernization of on-premises workloads to AWS.
• Design solutions using EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudFront, Route 53, SQS/SNS, and IAM.
• Design VPCs, subnets, security groups, load balancers, Transit Gateway, VPN, and Direct Connect connectivity.
• Build cloud-native and microservices-based architectures.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Define security controls using IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, WAF, GuardDuty, Security Hub, and CloudTrail.
• Implement monitoring and observability using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, OpenSearch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Optimize AWS infrastructure for cost, performance, reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
• Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical guidance to development and DevOps teams.
• Ensure solutions align with the AWS Well-Architected Framework.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience

• 8–12+ years overall, with 4+ years of hands-on AWS architecture experience.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong AWS cloud architecture experience.
• AWS networking and security.
• EC2, S3, RDS/Aurora, Lambda.
• ECS/EKS and Docker/Kubernetes.
• API Gateway and microservices.
• VPC, Route 53, ELB/ALB, Transit Gateway.
• IAM, KMS and cloud security.
• Terraform / CloudFormation.
• CI/CD and DevOps.
• CloudWatch and monitoring.
• High availability and disaster recovery.
• Cloud migration and modernization.
• Cost optimization.

Good to Have

• Python or Shell scripting.
• Serverless architecture.
• Multi-account AWS environments using AWS Organizations / Control Tower.
• Hybrid-cloud architecture.
• FinOps exposure.
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, or Aurora.
