Cloud Platform – SRE

A strong SRE profile having Terraform and other IAC Experience on either AWS or Azure is the primary key attribute as this should be transferable, but its also preferable that even if they are expert on one, that they have a basic knowledge of the other.

Responsible for providing end-to-end operations support for cloud services

by using their expertise to support development teams in taking on more

operations responsibilities and driving DevOps practices to enable the

company to efficiently scale cloud workloads.

Building tools and scripts to help operations and support teams. In particular

tools and scripts for Continuous integration and Continuous delivery,

Monitoring, Incident response alerting

Creating and maintaining Terraform scripts to deploy AWS and Azure

services

Working with project teams to ensure infrastructure deployment is fully

automated.

Working with Cloud Engineering and Infrastructure Service Provider to

understand and take ownership of all infrastructure deliverables

Ensuring that underlying infrastructure is running smoothly, and that systems

and tools are working as expected

Working with Cloud Engineering and Infrastructure Service Provider to

understand and take ownership of all infrastructure deliverables

Develop Infrastructure as code to manage and provision cloud resources.
