We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer / Senior Network Engineer to support a client's Azure cloud and hybrid network environment. This role requires strong hands-on Azure networking expertise, along with experience supporting Cato firewalls and Cisco on-premises infrastructure.

The primary focus is strengthening cloud networking capabilities while supporting reliable, secure connectivity between Azure and the on-premises environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, support, and troubleshoot Azure networking infrastructure and hybrid connectivity.
• Support hub-and-spoke network architecture, including virtual networks, subnets, peering, routing, and network security groups.
• Configure and troubleshoot Azure Front Door, Application Gateway, and Private Endpoints.
• Support Cato firewall and SD-WAN configurations, security policies, and connectivity.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Cisco on-premises networking, including LAN, WAN, VLANs, and wireless access points.
• Diagnose connectivity, routing, performance, and network security issues across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams to implement network improvements and address technical gaps.
• Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures, and provide knowledge transfer.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a Network Engineer, Senior Network Engineer, or Cloud Engineer with a strong networking focus.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Azure networking within a hybrid enterprise environment.
• Experience with hub-and-spoke architecture, Azure Front Door, Application Gateway, and Private Endpoints.
• Experience configuring and supporting Cato firewalls and related networking services.
• Working knowledge of Cisco infrastructure and traditional networking concepts, including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VLANs, and wireless access points.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across cloud and on-premises networks.
• Ability to work independently and communicate technical findings and recommendations clearly.
• Must be based in the United States and available for an approximately 3-month contract.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS networking in addition to Azure.
• Ability to travel periodically to Versailles, Ohio.
• Relevant Microsoft Azure, Cisco, or Cato certifications.
