Data Center Engineer / Senior Consultant

We are seeking a well-rounded Data Center Engineer / Senior Consultant to join our delivery team and support projects across networking, security, virtualization, storage, and data protection.

This is a hands-on delivery role focused on greenfield deployments, upgrades, configurations, migrations, and troubleshooting. Candidates who meet approximately 60% or more of the technical requirements are encouraged to apply. Strong practical experience and the ability to learn additional technologies are key to success.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver infrastructure projects involving new deployments, upgrades, configuration changes, and troubleshooting.
• Configure and support wired and wireless networks, including core and distribution switching, routing, VLANs, security, and segmentation.
• Deploy and support Palo Alto firewalls across physical, virtual, and Azure environments.
• Implement and troubleshoot secure access solutions, including Prisma Access, Prisma Agent, and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).
• Deploy and support Nutanix infrastructure on Supermicro, HPE, and Lenovo hardware.
• Support virtual machine migrations and Nutanix services involving network segmentation, Kubernetes, and Files.
• Configure and troubleshoot Azure Local and Microsoft Hyper-V environments.
• Implement and support NetApp and Pure Storage / Everpure storage solutions.
• Deploy and support on-premises and cloud data protection solutions.
• Collaborate with project teams and clients, document configurations, and provide knowledge transfer.

Technical Experience

Candidates should bring hands-on experience across a substantial portion of the following areas:

Networking and Security

Arista core and distribution switching and wireless networking; strong Cisco experience with the ability to learn Arista quickly is also acceptable. Palo Alto physical and virtual firewalls, including Azure deployments; Prisma Access, Prisma Agent, and ZTNA. Wired and wireless networking, routing, VLANs, security, and segmentation.

Compute and Virtualization

Nutanix on Supermicro, HPE, and Lenovo; VM migration, network segmentation, Kubernetes, and Files. Azure Local and Microsoft Hyper-V.

Storage

NetApp physical appliances and Azure-based virtual appliances; Pure Storage / Everpure solutions.

Data Protection

Rubrik and Cohesity, including on-premises and cloud offerings.

Required Qualifications

• Experience as a Data Center Engineer, Infrastructure Consultant, Senior Consultant, or similar hands-on technical professional.
• Practical experience delivering infrastructure deployments, upgrades, migrations, and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of approximately 60% or more of the technologies listed above.
• Ability to work across multiple infrastructure disciplines and quickly learn unfamiliar platforms.
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and client communication skills.
• Availability to begin within 2–4 weeks and interest in a contract-to-hire opportunity.

Preferred Experience

• Fortinet / FortiGate, Aruba Networks, Juniper, or Cisco Meraki.
• Veeam, Commvault, or Zerto.
• Experience delivering projects in a consulting or professional services environment.
