Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Workday Technical Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Workday HCM integrations, technical development, and end-to-end integration implementation. The ideal candidate should have experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting complex Workday integrations with internal and external applications.

The candidate must have strong technical expertise in Workday integration tools and web services, with the ability to independently deliver integration solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Workday Studio: Hands-on experience developing and maintaining complex integrations.
• EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder): Development of inbound and outbound integrations.
• Workday Core Connectors: Configuration, development, and customization of integrations.
• Workday Web Services: Hands-on experience with SOAP, REST APIs, WWS, and integration endpoints.
• XML, XSLT, XPath: Strong experience in data transformation, mapping, and processing.
• Workday HCM Integrations: Experience integrating Workday with third-party systems such as payroll, benefits, HR applications, and external platforms.
• End-to-End Integration Development: Experience in requirement analysis, technical design, development, unit testing, deployment, and production support.
• Troubleshooting and Debugging: Ability to investigate integration failures, analyze logs, resolve errors, and improve integration performance.
• Security for Integrations: Experience with Integration System Users (ISU), security groups, authentication, and integration permissions.

Additional Technical Skills

• Workday Extend development experience.
• REST/SOAP API integration and JSON/XML data handling.
• OAuth 2.0, SAML, and SSO concepts.
• Experience with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or Informatica.
• Workday Orchestrate experience, if applicable.
• Git, CI/CD, and version control practices, where applicable.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Web Services.
• Build inbound and outbound integrations between Workday and external enterprise applications.
• Develop transformation logic using XML, XSLT, XPath, and related technologies.
• Independently handle end-to-end integration development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Troubleshoot integration failures and resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation, integration specifications, and deployment procedures.
• Ensure integration security, data accuracy, performance, and reliability.

Candidate Profile

• 5+ years of relevant Workday technical development or integration experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Workday Studio and integration development.
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end integration projects.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Should be a technical developer, not a purely functional Workday HCM consultant.

Important Screening Criteria

Candidates with experience limited to Workday configuration, business process setup, security administration, calculated fields, and reporting without hands-on integration development should not be shortlisted for this role.
