About The Job

• We are looking for a Software Engineer with strong experience in Fluent Commerce OMS, Kotlin, Spring Boot/Micronaut, APIs, and system integrations.
• The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable order management solutions, backend services, and integrations across eCommerce, ERP, POS, WMS, and third-party systems.

Qualifications

Primary Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Fluent Commerce Order Management System (OMS).
• Experience in designing and developing Order Management workflows, including order orchestration, fulfillment, inventory, and returns.
• Strong programming experience in Kotlin.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot or Micronaut.
• Strong expertise in designing and developing RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience building integrations between Fluent Commerce and enterprise systems such as eCommerce platforms, ERP, POS, WMS, and third-party applications.

• Understanding of scalable backend architecture and distributed systems.

Essential Job Functions

• Design, develop, configure, and customize solutions on the Fluent Commerce platform.
• Build and support backend services and OMS workflows related to order orchestration, fulfillment, inventory, and returns.
• Develop and maintain integrations using Kotlin, Spring Boot/Micronaut, REST APIs, and GraphQL.
• Translate business requirements into scalable software solutions and technical designs.
• Participate in application design, solution architecture, code reviews, and technical discussions.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize application performance.
• Follow software engineering best practices, including clean coding, version control, testing, CI/CD, and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, business, QA, DevOps, and architecture teams.
